I only offered two sauce choices for this particular pasta bar and a few popular toppings. Just enough to give people a variety of choices. Don’t be afraid to use your everyday dishes. I used my white bowls from my farmhouse dish set, as well as other smaller bowls for topping and sauces. The pesto was not overly oily with a good balance of garlic, pine and basil. The pasta was not drenched so you could enjoy the pasta and the sauce. Similarly, the marinara had a great tomato tang with a nice amount of garlic and was not thick or thin, so it coated the pasta perfectly. We enjoyed both sauces.
